Let’s be honest, waxing can cause some discomfort but the sensation is often described as a brief, sharp sting or as I like to say “a little spicy” — similar to a small slap your mum would give you as a child or like ripping off a plaster. This varies for each client, but with regular waxing, it becomes less.

You should come every 4 weeks for repeat booking. Over time, growth will become less visible allowing more time between waxes.

I only use hot wax when waxing your intimate area, as hot wax clings to your hair and not the skin — promoting a more comfortable experience.

Before waxing: Exfoliate 24–48 hours before to remove dead skin cells and release trapped hair to prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid applying creams or oils before your appointment.

After waxing: Avoid heat treatments, friction, exercise, and tight clothing for 24 hours. Exfoliate after 48 hours if necessary to prevent ingrown hairs.

Yes! You can wax on your period, just make sure you're wearing a clean tampon. Please note you might feel a little more sensitive during this time.

Yes! Waxing while pregnant is perfectly fine. Please inform me beforehand. Keep in mind you may feel more sensitive during this time.

I require at least 3–4 weeks of growth after shaving before waxing. Waxing too soon might leave hair behind because it's too short to grip.

Please don’t worry — this is often an involuntary response to manipulation of the genitals during the waxing service and not related to sexual arousal. It will usually subside quickly. I’ll simply ask you to hold yourself out of the way, and we carry on professionally.

No! Please don’t trim — people often cut it too short. Just come as you are, full bush and all. I’ll trim if necessary.

For most areas, hair should be 2–3mm long (about the length of a grain of rice). You’ll need slightly longer if you’ve been shaving between waxes.

Typically 4–6 weeks depending on your rate of hair growth and how consistently you wax.

Totally normal after the first few waxes. It’ll usually calm down with proper aftercare. Avoid touching or picking, and exfoliate gently after 48 hours if needed.

No sexy time for at least 24 hours (if you can resist 😉). Give your skin time to calm down.

Technically you can, but it’s not advised. Waxing pulls hair from the root for full removal — shaving disrupts this cycle and can cause ingrown hairs.
